Andreas Eriksson was born in 1975 in Björsäter, Sweden, and lives and works in Medelplana, Sweden. He received his MA from the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm (1998).
Solo exhibitions include Skissernas Museum, Lund, Sweden (2017), Lidköpings Konsthall, Lidköping, Sweden (2013), MUMOK, Vienna (2008), Trondheims Art Museum (2005) and Nordiska akvarellmuseet, Skärhamn, Sweden (2005).
Andreas Eriksson represented Sweden at the Venice Biennale in 2011. He has also participated at the Sao Paulo Biennal, Brazil (2012) and at the 5th Nordic Biennale of Contemporary Art, Norway (2009). He was awarded the Baloise Art Prize in 2007.
